HOUSE OF LIBERATION

The intention of this project is to affirm the humanity of Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ and same gender loving folk, as we work towards our individual and collective liberation, while transcending the limitations that have been imposed upon us.

 

This will be achieved by liberating the hearts and minds of Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ and same gender loving folk from the false narratives, self-defeating ideas and dehumanizing expectations that we have internalized about ourselves, individually and collectively.

 

Throughout this project, we will embody, through real time practice: love, empathy, compassion, tenderness, honor and dignity. These ways of being are intended to repair the harms that come from living under oppressive conditions, in which we are forced to endure the adverse impact of the various iterations of white supremacy.
